My Story
Ben is a quiet, sweet and gentle nature person; sometimes he came back home from school with bruises on his hands and face. Was informed by his coaches/teachers that he get bullied sometimes ... always by younger, smaller size friends but Ben never retaliate.
His nickname in the school is Gentle Giant.
Ben first few words: Mama, Papa, Korkor, Auntie, Teacher, Let's Go.
Papa shared fruits with Ben every night and taught him to say apple,
orange, pear, mango, strawberry, pineapple, watermelon. Taught Ben thru hand gestures to say Walking, Swimming, Go church. Also taught Ben to say Hungry, I want eat, I want drink, Eat lunch, Eat dinner, Go home, Raining, Trees, Forest, Airplane, Help.
When we watched sermon online,
Papa asked Ben, Who is this? Ben answered Pastor
Papa asked Ben, Pastor always talk about who? Ben answered Jesus
Papa asked Ben, Where is Jesus? Ben answered In heaven, also in my heart.
Ben love to hug and dance with Mama. Always give Mama a kiss after Mama help him to shower everyday. Nightly prayer kneeling down with Mama. Sometimes, Papa would tucked Ben to bed, patting his face and prayed: Ben, sweet dreams, Jesus heal Ben and Ben be Happy.
Ben always hold Papa's hand when we are out of the house, even open car door for Papa like a gentleman. When we go nature walking, Ben
always walked ahead but will glimpse back to see Papa is still behind and sometimes stop for me to catch up.
